Weekly Movie Review

This week I had chance to watch a lot of movies.. 3 of them on the same day[.. or should I say d same night :)]
Dasvidaniya, Fashion, Green Street Hooligans and the 4th one's name I don't remember..( well.. it was that type of movie)

Moving ahead, Fashion is a movie which was released around 2-3 weeks ago nd no one will be needing a review on that. For those who haven't seen it yet.. download and watch it. You won't be dissapointed.
My rating 2.5 out of 5.

Dasvidaniya is a really good movie. Last week I talked about Bucket list.. It is on the same theme and is as good. The director has adapted it for the Indian audiences and done it well. Though the film slows down at places, the length of the film covers it up. The movie is 10 minutes shy of the 2hr mark. I can happily declare it to be the Movie Of the Month.
Amar( Vinay pathak) has been diagonised with cancer and he has only 3 months left. Till now, he has been living a mundane life. The highlight of his day is a to-do list which he makes in d morning. When he learns of his predicament, his alter ego kicks in and coaxes him to create a to-do list.. but this time it is of things which he wants to do before he is dead.... so that he can say that he lived a fulfilled life!!
Good Movie, Great actors.. My rating 4.5 out of 5.

Green Street Hooligan is again in a different genre. It is a about a guy Matt( Elijiah Wood.. ->LOTR-> Froddo) who gets kicked out of Harvard bcoz his cocaine is found in his room and he takes the fall for his room partner. He doesn't fight the charge assuming that as his roomy's dad is in a high position at University.
As he can't go back to his dad, he moves across the ocean to UK...where his sister stays along with her family. Once in England, he gets to see what Football Hooliganism is all about from an insider's point of view as his sister's brother in law is one of them.In the process he learns a lot new things which he wouldn't have in Harvard. He gets his first fight and many more after that... he learns to stand by his friends.. You guys are going to love it!! 
The treatment of the film is fantastic, specially the fight scenes. You would all want to pickup a headfone though.. the accent is mostly native english!!!
My rating 4 out of 5.

Movie Reccomendation

Guys.. just completed watching "The Bucket List". Great movie.. do not miss it by any chance.. nd Dus Vidhaniya draws from the same concept...hope it is also as good as this!!

Also, by now.. I think almost all would have watched Quantom of solace [:)].. for those of u who haven't.. avoid it... it is nowhere like a bond movie.. Even if u wan't to watch it.. go with least expectations... may be that will cushion the blow..

It has been a long brk nd we have missed a few in between!! but forgive me friends.. for I have been occupied with a sad business. My 1st fone is lost nd it took me some time to recover from the shock :'(.

Misadventures of Suketu--August pune trip!!!!

This should have come earlier but I was a bit busy... nd others are a lot busy :)

So 1st and foremost...when u go to Pune..don't forget to visit saket ke uncle ki dukaan.. I am enclosing a pic for u...u will also get a 20% discount if u take Saket's name.. 40% if u have his foto with urself also in it and 60% if saket goes with you.. That is the limit..we want his uncle to make some profits!!

2nd.. If you go for a tour of Osho Ashram with Saket.. Only two people will be allowed to take the tour.. but if you go without him.. any number of people can take the tour :)

3rd.. Saket was highly impressed by the acting of Killer Drama in the movie Rock On.

4th.. I can't tell this one in a public forum...

5th... bahut ho gaya saket ka... Devi's turn... Guys..during the whole 2 days at Pune ,Devi didn't drive his bike once... He has paid 1500 in fine and one time went to an atm with the cop to pay d fine...

Bhai Saket.. b4 u have to write something to make me apologize.. I do it myself.. I am really sorry to post the funny moments we shared in Pune!!!

Some serious news... Amit cleared his confirmation test on tuesday!! congrats dude!!

Dear Friends,
Today i came to a conclusion that my friends never understand anyone feelings.
when they made a community in orkut, in that community they use to make fun on me and now my beloved friends made a blog...but here also..they use to make fun on me...

When in first year, I was friends with one Avinash behera who used to wake up early nd go to wah chaddhis of his friend....I don't remeber what was my 1st reactionj on hearing this..was it yuckkk or was it kya dosti hai.. (frankly speaking devi chahe tu mera kitana bhi accha dost ho..mai teri chaddhi nahi dho sakta.sorry).. whatever, I was curious to meet this guy. Mila bhi, but utana kuchh pata nahi chala. Jyada interaction bhi nahi hua. During our end of second sem, thoda interaction badha..iskey room me to mai game khelney ke chakkar me jata tha...but harami daju ka mood hamesha kharab rehta tha. Ye dheere se bolta.. "pandey, abhi nahi.. baad me!!". fir jab annual day aaya..tab pata chala ki ye bhimkaya sharir hilata bhi hai..nd wo bhi ganesh hegde ki maafik..gud dancer...

Life chalti rahi, b'days aate..sab uthate the par ye ek kone me khada rehta..kehne ko to iska funda tha."No one will touch me nd I will touch no one". Personally..mujhe lagta tha sab ise uthane se darte the...kisi ki haddi sarak jati to[:D]!! Ab hum EC me aa chuke the, wo bhi ek hi section me!! sala mai sabere jagta..inke room par jata dekhta dono room partners so rahe hai..mai fir wapas aa kar so jata...mere 3rd sem ki watt lag gayi!!! kisi tarah jaan bachayi end sem exam me.. wo bhi inaki chhawani se papers nd notes tapakar!!!

Fir devi ne ek mahan kaam kiya...usney laptop kharida...nd meri jindagi badal gayi!! mai ek banjara insaan..mujhe ek thikana mil gaya..isaka laptop issey jyada mai use karta tha!! maii kya baaki sab karte the..I remeber one day he came 2 my room and said..."Pandey! maine apna lappy 1 mahine se nahi dekha hai..plz dhoondh dey." I had 2 roam in d hostel for 2hrs b4 i fished it out from bhatta's room..

Also, isaki ek aur aadat mast lagi thi mujhe...whenever we returned from holidays for new sem, he would throw all his old clothes out..sala safai waley ki chandi ho jati thi!!

Nd i don't think anyone will forgive him this..sala hamare saath 2 chakkar nahi katata tha maal road ka..nd....(let it be blank..sabko to pata hai..)

Whenever he is in mood..he is one of the most hyper guys I have seen..Mall road par priyanki ko gaali dena ho ya Bhalu ko... dj nt par naachna ho...ya fir koi special invi plan ho..sala gande se ungali kar deta hai!!

He loves to enjoy life nd do as much masti as possible..bt load bhi bahut jaldi le leta hai..thodi jaldi fatati hai isaki[:)]..

Aur kya...last 1 yr me isake saath kaafi waqt gujara ..isako bhi comp games ki lat laga di..(GLADIATOR).... maza aaya

Who are we?

Introduction:

4 years of engineering..3 semesters of placement..
No matter what, at least we all have answer to one question.."Tell me about your self.."
How about knowing yourself from someone else..

Let me start with describing who are 'Invincibles'..
The first one to write a comment can describe me and one writing next can describe the one above him..
subsequently we will be able to know WHO ARE WE but kise aur ke zubani..

Description:
A group of some 20 odd ppl, coming from different part of the country but sharing one common name..'INVINCIBLE'..Their slogan goes as '1 4 all and all 4 1'..Not only they say this but they live through the same..

Be it the fun times in 2nd year or tough times in 3rd/4th year..
Be it commenting on mall road or be it organizing KALRAAV 2006..
Be it fighting against North east or be it fighting against locals..
Be it boozing in Gangtok/Drop Inn or be it slogging in exams..
'Together we stand n together we fall'..has been a thier punch line..

Sab ek duje ke bhale kitni he maar le..aapas me pyaar utna he hai..
Koi ungli utha ke dekh le..ungli thod di jate hai, bhali aapas me ek duje ke ungli kar kar ke sab ke haasi chhut jati hai..
